Listed below is the exact order of events that are required to meet Saul for his proposal, and to achieve the good ending of the Caspian level (I tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum and I tagged the ones I couldn't leave out): Okay, enough of my rambling, let's get down to business. And considering the fact that I managed to do all of this on Ranger Hardcore with basically no resources whatsoever, I am confident that you can do it all as well. Luckily, I have painstakingly compiled everything you need to know/do in order to not make the same mistakes I made the first time around. I explored every inch of every level, but still there were a few little details I overlooked and thus I failed to keep every crew member with me all the way to the end. However, I spent a few hours looking around the web to figure out if there was something I had missed and it turns out there were two easily unnoticeable aspects of the level that I missed solely due to circumstance. That fact really frustrated me because I thought I had done every single thing I possibly could have. During my first play-through (on Normal) I failed to get the good ending of the Caspian level, despite earning the "good" ending of the game itself. What I have to share is something that hasn't gotten quite enough attention yet and I feel like there's too much general confusion surrounding Saul's quest-line. Killing nazis who are surrendering or otherwise not a threat, is still killing an innocent person, idiot.A home for fans of the Metro book series, the games Metro 2033, Metro Last Light and Metro Exodus. So my question is, why does the game think that shooting a literal nazi with concentration camps and everything makes me a bad guy? I want to get the good guy ending but it just doesnt seem right to NOT kill every nazi I see.Īm i still able to get the good guy ending even if I kill every surrendering nazi i see? However, I noticed that the game became black and white for a second and played some ominous music when I did this, leading me to think that the game is penalizing my karma for killing someone that surrendered. Considering the fact that they're nazis, i instantly shot them in the face. I noticed that at the beginning of the game when youre trying to escape from the nazis, some of them surrender and you have the option of not killing them.
